Spinning disk microscope

Hi everyone! In today's post I'm going to talk about my future job (as you could see in the title of the post).

I really hope I can work in something related with biochemistry (that's what I'm studying) specifically I'd like to be a researcher.

My insterest in labs and research started at january of 2016, when I started going to a lab in the faculty of medicine. SCIAN lab, or "Laboratory of Scientific Image Analisys".

It's amazing what all the researchers do at that lab! There you can find amazing microscopes, some of them don't even looks like microscopes (for example, the light sheet microscope, that is like a table with a lot of little things).

I'm learning to use a confocal microscope (spinning disk) and I love it.

The topics of biochemistry that I like are microbiology and inmunology, so I wish in the future I could work in labs as a microbiology or immunology researcher.

If I work in that, I will travel a lot, because you can find another researchers that can help you, or maybe you can help them. It's nice when you can work with different people, because in that way is easier and funnier:)
