I will start this saying that I still don't like writing blogs. I don't like to write about things I like or my best experience at something, because sometimes I have nothing to say about it or I want to talk about something that is like "personal" or something that I can't summarize. Sincerely I don't like the university, but I don't hate it either. When I received the results of the PSU and I saw that my scores were high enough to study biochemistry at this university I was really happy and I had a lot of delusions because sometimes when I was at school I asked things to my teachers and they said things like "you will know about this when you go to the university" "you have an entire semester to learn this at the university" (not always, I love the teachers I had because they always tried to answer my questions). This post will be about summer holidays ♥ Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the summer holidays, but not because I have a lot of plans or a list of places I will visit this year, I just want to finish the semester and rest! I'd like to write about a lot of things, but I decided to write about a chilean artist: Violeta Parra<3 I chose Violeta Parra because I think that she is a complete chilean artist, she was born on October 4th, 1917, in a family ligated to the music (as you may know) so she is in contact with artists since the first moment. Today's topic: Videogames Well, I don't have a big list of favourite videogames, because the only videogames I played are the ones that I played with my brother when we were kids, and my brother always chose the videogames:( We are interested in different things, so, the videogames he chose wasn't the ones that I wanted, but we played those anyway. One day my parents bought a videogame that they thought my brother and I would enjoy. The videogame they chose: Guitar hero III, Legends of Rock. They were right, we loved it. This videogame is supposed to be played with a "guitar controller", but we haven't one, so we use the play station controller (we still play guitar hero, the play station is really old but it still works). My future job Spinning disk microscope Hi everyone! In today's post I'm going to talk about my future job (as you could see in the title of the post). I really hope I can work in something related with biochemistry (that's what I'm studying) specifically I'd like to be a researcher. My insterest in labs and research started at january of 2016, when I started going to a lab in the faculty of medicine. SCIAN lab, or "Laboratory of Scientific Image Analisys". It's amazing what all the researchers do at that lab! There you can find amazing microscopes, some of them don't even looks like microscopes (for example, the light sheet microscope, that is like a table with a lot of little things). I'm learning to use a confocal microscope (spinning disk) and I love it.
